Join us for a full day shooting experience around the majestic Angkor temples with our secret way – without the crowd. We are native to this region and we know exactly when to go into the temples to photograph beautiful images with the best light. We will share our country history and guide you to the best photogenic point, and teach to photograph in the best way with wonderful images,
We will visit some of the most impressive Angkor temples, from the iconic Angkor Wat to the ruined Ta Prohm with the sprawling tree, Ta Nei-the hidden Budhhist temple and Angkor Thom, the largest city in the world during 12th century where you will have the opportunity to shoot the giant smiling stone faces followed by sunset over the ancient water way at the south gate of Angkor Thom.
Full itinerary
(4:30am – 10:30am)
Pick up from the hotel at 4:30 am to the iconic Angkor Wat in order to get the best location to photograph sunrise over the five towers structure reflexed under the water. After the sunrise, we will guide you around the best photogenic point of this spectacular temple with less visitors as the busy hour will start again after 8 O’clock. Stop at a local restaurant for breakfast (breakfast box pack from the hotel)
Next, we continue to the ruined jungle temple, Ta Prohm known as Rajavihara with the sprawling trees, crumbling galleries with fine carvings, this will deliver you the best experience and images. Afterward, we walk through the century forest to the north gate to catch up our driver to explore Tanei– the small
hidden Budhhist temple with a peaceful and tranquility moment to capture around this beautiful temple as the big tour buses cannot get in.
Lunch is at your own cost, we can recommend you some standard and fancy restaurants in town if you want to experience outside of your hotel.
(2:30pm – 16:30pm)
Travel to Angkor Thom, the largest city in the world in 12th century, our first stop will be at the death gate, the quietest gate with four gigantic smiling stone faces. Then, we will walk 500 meters along the city wall to the victory gate with the trees surrounding.
Meet our driver and continue to Preah Phalilay the unknown temple covered with the beautiful trees, following by Elephant Terrace and Terrace of the Lepper King and a buddhist monastery with opportunity to shoot some novices, nuns and local people having water blessing ceremony as it is very special in Cambodia society.
Then, walk along the shade across the ancient royal palace and Baphoun temple and finish our shooting tour at Bayon temple at its smallest crowd in late afternoon, it is a phenomenal and well photographed temple of the 4 faces on top of every single tower with its complexity followed by sunset over the ancient waterway on the south gate causeway.
